I am writing to you as liaison officers to SC 34 from the OASIS ODF and OIC TCs, to bring to your attention the Call for Participation in the recently-launched Study Period into the "Zip" Format that is taking place in SC 34/WG 1.

Given that both the ODF and OIC TCs are potentially important stakeholders in "Zip" technology, I'd be grateful if you could draw this Study Period to their attention. TC experts would of course be most welcome to participate!
