Subject: RE: [oic] Fw: [members] OASIS Member Review of Draft TAB Guidelines
Yes, I did see this. I gave it a quick look. Some of it is vaguely familiar, as if many of us have been waltzing around the same ideas. What I like about these personally is they give me something to try to make actionable in the reference-implementation and test-case work I want to do around interoperability provisions. I will need to look at this more closely and turn it into something I can take actions on. - Dennis -----Original Message----- From: robert_weir@us.ibm.com [mailto:robert_weir@us.ibm.com] Sent: Thursday, April 14, 2011 10:14 To: oic@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [oic] Fw: [members] OASIS Member Review of Draft TAB Guidelines Did you all get this note? It looks like an interesting set of guidelines. -Rob ----- Forwarded by Robert Weir/Cambridge/IBM on 04/14/2011 12:31 PM ----- From: "MARTIN.CHAPMAN@ORACLE.COM" <MARTIN.CHAPMAN@ORACLE.COM> To: "members@lists.oasis-open.org" <members@lists.oasis-open.org> Date: 03/25/2011 01:36 PM Subject: [members] OASIS Member Review of Draft TAB Guidelines Draft guidelines to assist TCs with testing and interoperability are available for OASIS Member review and comment. The OASIS Technical Advisory Board (TAB) plans to publish the following as guidelines and is soliciting comments and feedback from the OASIS community. These guidelines may form the basis for more formal requirements on TCs in the future, and feedback will help shape these guidelines in line with best and current TC practices: 1) Conformance, Interoperability and Portability Testing: Proposed Procedures and Practices (http://wiki.oasis-open.org/tab/TestingPolicy) 2) Proposed Testability Guidelines ( http://wiki.oasis-open.org/tab/TestabilityGuide) 3) Proposed Interoperability Guidelines ( http://wiki.oasis-open.org/tab/InteropGuide) The deadline for comments is the 27th May 2011. Comments can be submitted via the "Send a Comment" button on the TAB's web page: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tab/ We will publish a disposition of comments alongside any updates to these proposed guidelines. The TAB would like to thank in advance OASIS Members that submit comments and feedback.
