Subject: RE: [oiic-formation-discuss] pixel-perfect
I saw this in my morning e-mail too. I checked into ISO/IEC 24754:2008 and it is moderately useful as a resource for the TC and could be listed in the "2a) similar work" list in the charter. It strikes me that it is a checklist for characterizing a processor, but it doesn't standardize anything about rendering. A rendering specification is presumed to already exist. I'm not sure how this informs the pixel-perfect thread. - Dennis PS: My appraisal of the ISO/IEC 24754:2008 announcement is at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/oiic-formation-discuss/200808/msg00020.html -----Original Message----- From: Dave Pawson [mailto:dave.pawson@gmail.com] http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/oiic-formation-discuss/200808/msg00020.html Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 04:56 To: OIIC Formation Discuss Subject: [oiic-formation-discuss] pixel-perfect Who'se been dreaming?
