Subject: Java TC actions

Today, the SCA-J TC took several actions to address the open issue backlog.
1) Motion: Deprioritize JEE spec. until further notice and use Friday call for work on other specs. (Dave, second Mike)
This effectively gives SCA-J 2.5 hours of telecon time each week. Members were encouraged to discuss issue proposal in email instead of waiting for the telecon.

2) As a standing rule...Motion: Any new issues raised after Dec9 which do not include a proposal are automatically deferred post Feb23 deadline. In order to considered for the Feb23 deadline, new issues MUST include a proposal or statement of direction.

3) The chairs have assigned all outstanding issues to a specific person

There was a discussion of the doabilty of the Feb 23 PR date as part of the above motions. There was concensus that Feb 23 is not doable with 5 specs. What does it mean for SCA JEE to come later? It was not discussed.

I mentioned the possibility of having a virtual F2F in early Jan but did not push the point on this call.

This resolves my AI(s) from the last Liason telecon.

thanks
