2007 Sterring Committee Election results

Open CSA Members,

I am pleased to report the results of the first election for the Open CSA
Steering Committee.

From the 10 highly qualified and interested candidates you selected:
- David Burke
- Patrick Leonard
- Mark Little

These three will be joining the Steering Committee on their conference call
this week and will be stepping into their leadership role immediately.
Their seats will expire in one year, subsequent terms will be two year
terms.  

Elections were run using the Single Transferable Voting. The ballots were
counted using Open STV version 1.1 (Scottish method). The detailed results
of this tabulation can be seen below.

Please join me in welcoming the winners to their new leadership role and
congratulating all that took part on the election process.  

The Open CSA community in OASIS, while new, has already proven to be an
active, exciting confluence of technology providers, users and influencers
who are ready to get things done.  We look forward to great and productive
work in the future.
