Subject: Issue 123+148, proposal for electronic vote
- From: David Honey1 <DavidHoney@uk.ibm.com>
- To: "OASIS OSLC Core TC Discussion List" <oslc-core@lists.oasis-open.org>
- Date: Fri, 12 Jan 2018 18:21:19 +0000
Proposal for electronic vote:
Rationale for proposed change
- The specification does describe
the set of properties returned when oslc.select is not specified.
- The specification does not describe
how a client requests that no member properties should be included.
Proposed changes
https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/oslc-core/trunk/specs/oslc-query.html
Section 10.5, oslc.select
Change 2nd paragraph from:
If oslc.select is not specified, the
response SHOULD omit all properties of members in the query result container.
To:
If oslc.select is not specified, the
response MAY include a default set of properties of members in the query
result containers. Implementations SHOULD not include all member properties
in this default set if there are a large number of such properties.
Add the following new paragraph after
the 2nd:
If the oslc.select includes a property
representing rdf:nil, the query result container SHOULD NOT contain any
member properties.
Best regards,
David
