Title: C001 uploaded (& images)
I wil update my Oasis settings - my mail has been getting rejected for some reason..

On the diagrams - I thought that the templates were specified to use blue border & light yellow background for model views and black border & light yellow background for instantiated templates. Hence I didn't see that there was an option to change (either of them).

I looked at Leif's assigning codes & he has also continued to place a border around the instances - as I had previously also done.
I also thought that this helps to provide a consistency between versions (of the capability) but yes - it does become difficult in other capabilities.
The multiple identification diagrams in C001 show this - but on the up-side it forces you to organise the diagrams - which in my opinion is better than little or no organisation even if colour-coded.

On the other hand I think that for key capabilities we really have to go out of our way to make everything as explicit as possible to help understanding. In others that use the core capabilities maybe it could be acceptable to deprecate the colour to the individual instances?

regards,
Tim
NB sorry if this gets cross-posted, I don't know if the Oasis server will accept my mail yet.

Thanks Tim

I have not had a chance to look in detail

Could we start to use the plcs-dex exploder rather than the inner clique?

The reason for asking is that I have a number of Eurostep colleagues who are working with the capabilities who will be doing some reviewing.

One quick comment - your diagrams show the capability in which the template is defined by drawing a box around them.

Have we agreed that this is the way the diagrams should be?

My approach was to colour code the entities (I had not considered templates).

This is a lot easier than drawing a box around entities/templates  which gets difficult when you have a complex diagram.

Regards
Rob

All,

I have just uploaded latest version of C001.

A little rough - but I hope it's not too far off what we need.
The images seem a little large so I'll be working on getting those right.
(What visio settings do others use? - e.g. screen/printer/source/ or custom for pixels & size).

I guess I also need to update the ref data section with what is now available from the rdl.

Feedback welcome

Cheers,
Tim
