Subject: Issue against Product_breakdown_for_support
<issue id="SB/LG-DEX3-2" type="general" category="minor_technical" by="sean barker" date="2005-09-19" status="open"> <description> Requirement from DEX 3 transferred:Need to classify part with part-replacement-indicator: Mandatory, conditional. [Meaning, if the part occurs in a disassembly, then it must be replaced / should be replaced on condition. Disassembly-replacement-indicator might be a better term.] We believe this is a classification of the usage of the item in the context of the end-product next higher assembly, or possibly of a particular part in the general context of the end-product. </description> </issue> END USERS: Is there any additional requirement to apply this classification in the context of specific tasks? I.e. are there cases where a particular task is such that executing forces the replacement of the part whereas this is not true in general.
