AP239 status

As planned, a ballot resolution workshop was held during the TC184/SC4 meeting in Seattle from 3-8 October to address the issues raised against the DIS version of AP239.

 

Excellent progress was made on resolving the issues, resulting in a reversal of the German negative vote.  This means that AP239 has now achieved a 100% yes vote in the ballot, and can proceed to publication along with the modules as soon as the agreed changes have been made.   Many thanks to Tim King, Nigel Shaw, Martin Gibson, Leif Gyllstrom, Nils Sandsmark, Phil Rutland, Sean Barker, Mike Barter and the other team members for their efforts - sorry if I missed anyone!

 

We have also agreed the final publication format with ISO CS, so that the STEPmod scripts can be updated and the new modules delivered.

 

The real challenge is now to complete the editorial work and convenor sign-offs to get the final documents to ISO as rapidly as possible, to allow publication this year.
