Subject: P28 generation and the DEXs (status update)

Title: Message
Dear fellow PLCS people

The Part 28 generation software for the DEXs is now working properly again (although it should be noted that Part28 is still subject to change and the current software may have to be revisited when the new edition of 10303-28 is published).

The operational_feedback DEX has a newly regenerated (validated) EXPRESS long form and a newly regenerated (validated) P28 XML schema.

There are, however, still errors in some of the capabilities underlying other DEXs and a number of the underlying modules have been changed as a result of the ballot comments and the PLCS AP long form has not yet been rebuilt. Consequently there are still some errors when DEX long forms are generated.

Because of these considerations, there may be problems when users attempt to generated P28 XSD for other DEXs.

Regards

Mike

Subject: [plcs] FW: Meeting on 21 October

It looks as though there will be insufficient attendance to justify a physical meeting of TC members on 21 October.

We will therefore proceed with the telecon meeting only.

Subject: Meeting on 21 October

As agreed in Norfolk, we have an opportunity for some members of the TC to come together in a working session on October 21, following the PDT Europe conference.  As not all members will be present, we have scheduled a TC meeting by conference call for 1500 London time to report on progress.

I therefore propose that we use the session to work on some of the outstanding action items for the TC, so that these can be reported back to the full membership during the teleconference.

Is this proposal acceptable?

I would be grateful for indications at who could be available for this working session?

Many thanks
