Concern has been expressed about the way in which capabilities have been
documented. In particular, the instance diagrams are cluttered and
inconsistent, the Express-g diagrams use different format and insufficient
precision is provided in a number of the capabilities.

So over the last few weeks a number of the modellers have been reviewing
how best to address this and we are proposing to incorporate templates in
each capability. These provide:
A consistent graphical notation for showing capabilities in instance and
model (EXPRESS-g) diagrams;
A textual definition of the entities to be instantiated by a capability  a
template.

The document and PowerPoint  sldies describe the approach. The XSL/XML has
been updated to accommodate the approach. 

The templates will reviewed and refined  at the Valenci meeting next
week.
