Meeting 32  12 June 2007 - 1600 Stockholm, 1500 UK, 1500 GMT, 1000 US Eastern Daylight, and 0700 US Pacific Time - for 60 minutes.  

Objective

The principal objective of this session was to update the TC members on the progress of the DEX Publication Project.  The meeting also offered the opportunity for the TC to provide guidance to the DEX project.

	Teleconference was limited to one hour

	UID Project working on Aviation DEX.  IPT meeting in Huntsville, AL next week.  Also looking at a DEX for UID information.  It was suggested that the project coordinate with the AIA IUID Guidelines project, to ensure that the DEX was compatible with the DoD flat file specification, and the DEX format was included as an optional format in the industry guidelines. 	DNV sorry for all the confusion the announcement concerning the PLCS/S1000D Harmonization meeting, being hosted by NDIA on 26-27 June.  Revised invitation to meeting reflecting concerns expressed by PLCS members.  Looking for developing requirements for the harmonization of PLCS and S1000D.  All issues have been discussed and resolved.
	DNV has started to give courses in PLCS, mainly workshops
	Boeing and BAE Systems working through AIA to promote PLCS in the Engineering Data Interoperability Group
	Members are trying to marshall a number of projects to build requirments and link to other standards
