OASIS Templates developed under NAVSEA ShipLTDR project made available

Eurostep and CostVision worked on the NAVSEA ShipLTDR project developing OASIS PLCS templates. We have just been given permission to make the templates developed under this project publically available in DEXlib. I have just committed the following list of templates:

assigning_cad_model

product_property_geometric

representing_cad_model

representing_geometric_property

representing_interface_connection

representing_interface_definition

representing_interface_occurrence

These templates basically provide two capabilities (not documented) the first being the PLCS codification of the PDM schema recommended practices for associating CAD files with positional information to the product structure (thus supporting DMU). The second providing basic connectivity information to support both electrical wiring and pipe runs as needed in the NAVSEA project.

Although these templates have been made available in DEXlib for information it is not expected for further work to be carried out here. All future development on these templates, or their successors, is being moved to the PLCSlib environment that significantly improves the template development process.
