Press Release to Announce OASIS DCML TCs

--PLEASE NOTE QUOTE DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, 15 OCT --

OASIS Members:

The Consortium is in the process of drafting one press release to announce
the formation of the OASIS DCML Server 
Technical Committee, the OASIS DCML Network Technical Committee, the OASIS
DCML Applications and Services Technical Committee, and the OASIS DCML
Framework Technical Committee. We have targeted Tuesday, 19 October 2004,
for distribution.

While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our
technical work, only Sponsor members elect to receive promotional benefits,
such as inclusion in announcements directed to the press. 

The OASIS DCML TCs press release, therefore, will include the following
statement:

"Members of the OASIS DCML Technical Committees include representatives of
BEA Systems, BMC Software, Computer Associates, Electronic Data Systems,
Inkra Networks, Opsware, Tibco, <INSERT SPONSORS> and others."

If your organization's name is listed above and you would prefer *not* to be
mentioned in the press release, please let me know.

Sponsor-level members that would like to send a quote on behalf of their
organization in support of the OASIS DCML TCs may email that to me. Please
include a name and title at your company to whom the quote can be
attributed. A representative of your organization must join one or more of
the TCs prior to the release date. 

If your organization is not a Sponsor member, and you would like to be
featured as a major participant in the OASIS DCML TCs, please contact Scott
McGrath (scott.mcgrath@oasis-open.org) for information on upgrading your
membership to take advantage of this promotional benefit.

**Our deadline for accepting Sponsor quotes for the press release is 5:00 pm
US EST, Friday, 15 Oct.**
