Subject: Re: [regrep-cc-review] Moving Forward (RIM-based vs. XML Serialization)
<Farrukh> +1 on all points made in Joe's excellent summary. </Farrukh> I concur. There is an aspect that I'd like to mention. I think it is early to define what RIM artifacts we would use -> I can see that we might use not only Slots, but other things like ClassificationSchemes, ObjectTypes, Associations, ... that's why I think that discovering and applying "Mapping Patterns" is important. <Farrukh> BTW if there are some issue with our extensibility mechanism as defined by Slot's (e.g. lack of order in slot values as pointed by Diego) then we should slate it to be fixed in V3. </Farrukh> I can also assume that in case that there were some other requirements that could better be satisfied by introducing some new artifacts in the RIM, we should enhance / modify the RIM and make it part of one of the future releases of the specs.
