Subject: CCTS Section 7.5 - Core Component Storage Metadata
Team, I believe that we should disregard the entire Section 7.5 of the CCTS spec for our Core Components Review work. My rationale is that this section is not specific to Core Components - rather, it details metadata for Registry Classes. As we know, our Registry specs already detail metadata for Registry Classes. Some of our Registry Class specifications are in sync with the CCTS spec, and some are not (ex: CCTS requirement [S81] specifies start/end dates for Associations). My belief is that an attempt to enhance the Registry specifications by another group should be considered out of scope of that group's efforts, because it is being done outside of the Registry TC. If such a group wishes to provide feedback to the Registry TC on our specs, they may use the channels that OASIS makes available. Joe
