Subject: RE: [regrep] Question: Datatype for RegistryEntry stability and s tatus
Sounds like a good cleanup to me. One clarification - ShortName is 64 characters and LongName is 128 characters (not bytes), isn't it? thanks, Sanjay Patil ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ IONA Total Business Integration (TM) Phone: 408 350 9619 http://www.iona.com -----Original Message----- From: Farrukh Najmi [mailto:Farrukh.Najmi@Sun.COM] Sent: Sunday, November 04, 2001 9:50 AM To: regrep@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [regrep] Question: Datatype for RegistryEntry stability and status Team, As I was updating the SQL schema for RIM 1.1 I noticed that the RegistryEntry attributes stability and status are of type LongName (128 bytes). I think they should be of type ShortName (64 bytes). 128 bytes seem excessive. Any thoughts? -- Regards, Farrukh
