Hello Dee,

Thanks for your favorable reply.

For the speaking slot, please do feel free to suggest the topics.  The conference program is a framework and we welcome speakers to propose the most appropriate topics that address critical issues /technology development related to web services.

For the traveling expense, sorry that we have limited budget,  therefore we can cover the speaker’s  accommodation expenses only  in Beijing during the event.  Will you have speakers traveling to Asia around that period and make a  trip to Beijing?

For the Asian speaking tour in Sept/Oct 2003, we will be delighted to get involve.  Please let me know more about your plan.  We work closely with China Software Industry Association and related organizations in China.

Thanks and Regards

Dinah

Hello Dinah Chan,

Thank you so much for your kind invitation, this sounds like a great event!

We are very excited about the possibility of participating in Web Services China 2003. I reviewed the program and I was uncertain about which speaking topic you had in mind for OASIS. Also, would it be possible for your organization to cover the travel expenses for an OASIS speaker?

The cosponsorship (support) agreement looks fine.

On another matter, we are in the proces of organizing an OASIS Asian speaking tour in September/October  2003.  Would you have any interest in helping coordinate a one/two day event with OASIS? We are considering a focus on ebXML/Web services.

Feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.

Best regards,

Dee Schur
