Subject: ebRIM 2.4 and Object Types
In reviewing ebRIM 2.4, I would like to please offer an observation regarding the section beginning on line 696: <Quote> 7.5.8.1 Canonical Object Types The following table lists canonical object types. Note that for an ExtrinsicObject there are many types defined based on the type of repository item the ExtrinsicObject catalogs. In addition there are object types defined for all leaf sub-classes of RegistryObject. These canonical object types are defined as a canonical ClassificationScheme called ObjectType. While the ObjectType scheme may easily be extended, a Registry MUST support the object types as defined by the ObjectType scheme referenced in appendix A.1. </Quote> Observations: - First paragraph, first sentence: There is no "following table" - I believe this should reference the canonical ObjectType ClassificationScheme (appendix A.1). - Second paragraph, first sentence (These canonical object types..."): Seems to logically flow "prior to" line 688, which begins: "Each RegistryObject instance has an objectType attribute." Thanks, Joe
