Subject: RE: [regrep] [Fwd: [xml-dev] Extract A Subset of a W3C XML Schema?]

For a whole variety of reasons, XForms is pretty much wholly inadequate,
which is pretty much why none of the significant eForms vendors are
supporting it.

<Quote1>
For a designer looking to automate a form they are confronted with the
need to find appropriate XML to which to bind the form fields.
</Quote1>

XForms 1.0 - when it becomes a W3C Recommendation - will be ideal for
this.

<Quote2>
For a large organization with many forms it is likely that there will be
many elements that are common to some forms.

Yes - and when we've completed our Technical Note on the registration of
elements/attributes/datatypes/namespace identifiers, it will be a
wonderful step toward this goal.
