Members of the OASIS TAB were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of presentations submitted and are now dealing with the very difficult task of selection. Thanks to all who contributed abstracts. Look for Program details soon. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Keynotes Two very exciting keynotes will be featured at the Symposium. On Monday, a major user perspective will be offered by William Stangel, Sr. VP and Enterprise Architect for Fidelity Investments Systems Company, part of the largest mutual fund company in the United States, the No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans, and a leading online brokerage firm. On Tuesday, Thomas Koulopoulos, president and co-founder of the Delphi Group technology management and advisory firm, will speak on 'Standards and the Business of Uncertainty.' Tom will lay out the tenets of technological and practical survival in the new world of uncertainty and investigate how standards provide the foundation for agility and change. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsors Adobe, IBM, and Sun Microsystems have graciously provided funding in support of the OASIS Symposium. Their sponsorship goes a long way to ensure the success of the event and keep the meeting registration fee affordable for all members.
