So, overall, the scenario pretty closely mirrored what we had already done.
However, in this case, we were sending real data using a real healthcare
vocabulary.

Needless to say, the scenario got a lot of interest from various Gov't types
that came through the booth. Brett Trusko brought some VIPs through the
scenario (can't remember her name). I ran her through the presentation for
what we did at XML2003 and she said that she had just given a talk at the
conference on precision what we had described, so she was very intrigued
that we had implemented the whole thing using the various OASIS and ebXML
standards.

Let me know if you need more details. I can send you the form, if you like.

cheers

Peter

I am asking to have a section for 2.1 implementations added to our
public home page, and links for the press release and demo cited below
posted there. Any objections?

Subject: Support for ebXML registry

David, Carol, Monica, Farrukh:

I saw a release on Monday coming out of the HIMSS (health care IT)
conference about a demo involving and vendor support for ebXML registry.
The vendor is Raining Data, and its release is found at
http://www.rainingdata.com/company/pressroom/himss.html . A description
of the demo, also from Raining Data, is found at
http://www.rainingdata.com/products/tl/docs/tl_himss.pdf . It looks
like the demo uses the NIST registry.

Best regards.
