Subject: RE: [regrep] FW: ACORD Document Repository Interface (DRI) ReferenceGuide

Well, Adobe is an ACORD member.

We already have a relationship with ACORD for their forms. We believe that
our Form Manager product (which is based on the Reg/Rep) should be useful
for insurance companies.

Naturally, we'd also like to see it used for these purposes.

So, I'll continue to pursue it with ACORD.

I will try and find out more details about the repository interop project
and try to figure out how to move foward on that.

Thanks very much for sharing this information Peter.

Having read the documents I can safely say that *EVERYTHING* that ACORD
requires (as well as much more)
can be handled by ebXML Registry standard out of the box.

I think that is an excellent idea.

If someone has contacts in ACORD and can assess the interest level at
ACORD then
I would consider volunteering to present ebXML Registry to them
including a demo that shows how
we meet their requirements. The only thing I ask is that there is some
PULL from ACORD
as my time is fairly committed with many others orgs that are deploying
ebXML Registry.

Thanks.
