Report on ebBP demonstration (Monica) Monica reported on the demonstration of the ebBP tool (see also notes and screen shots in ebBP editor items under External Resources: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=ebxml-bp#reso urces). The Middle East Technical University in Turkey along with numerous other European organizations have been working on this ebBP editing tool. This is a graphical process development tool. The tool was demonstrated the 2nd week of August. It can import process definitions, incorporate ontological classes, and implement syntactic constraints. They are also working on a CPA tool and configuration management tool for eHealth care. It was determined that the ebBP is sufficient to handle complex processes. A number of profiles are needed, including an ebBP profile for Registry. 2. Report on OASIS BIAS call (Pim) BIAS (Biometric Identity Assurance Services) is an OASIS TC that is looking at protocols for biometric data elements to ensure that a particular identity is who they claim to be. The TC wants to define a set of assurance services, and is currently working on use cases. 3. TC status updates Jacques - working on ebMS v3.0. They have completed a 60 day public review and are working through the comments. There were a number of substantial comments, so they plan to go through another public review cycle. Dale - Working on v3.0 as a committee draft. Pim - Working on a CPA template. Kathryn - Registry TC is currently working on approving the OWL Profile document as an approved Committee Draft. Due to vacations, e-mail problems, etc., not enough ballots were returned for the vote, although all votes cast were yes votes. The ballot for committee draft will need to be re-submitted, and will be discussed at the next Registry TC telecon this week. Next meeting is scheduled for September 11th. Please send agenda items prior to the telecon.
