3. Version 4.0 issues discussion
- Carl chaired meeting as Kathryn had to delay joining the meeting.
- TC Welcomed Alessandro Triglia <sandro@oss.com> as new
member
- Alessandro introduced himself:
- past member of OASIS Emergency Management TC
- Current member of various SWGs at Open Geospatial Consortium
(OGC)
- No registry-specific background but did provide extensive
feedback on ebRIM 4.0 cd1 draft 6
- Farrukh: mentioned that 80% of Alessandro's feedback has been
addressed in regrep4-cd2-draft1

- ACTION: Need someone to enter remaining issues from Alessandro

- Oliver volunteered Brett from MIT Lincolns Labs.
- Discussed that Brett will need to join TC at least as a
non-voting member in order to cover IP concerns before contributing to
TC work
- TC gratefully welcomes Brett's contributions
- Discussed status of OGC ebXML RegRep SWG
- ACTION: Need formal liaison with OGC ebXML RegRep group. This
has been proposed but no one has stepped up yet
- OGC ebXML RegRep SWG has been formed, there is a mailing list
but no activity since new year yet

- We want to rename rim:ValueListItem to rim:Value
- We want to change def of rim:StringValueType to be a simple

- Not sure if we should keep rim:ValueList or not as meeting came
to an end
- Adjourned at 9PT sharp due to telecon number being used for
another meeting
