Proposed votes for Feb 3, 12PM ET RegRep TC meeting

Dear Colleagues,

Recall that it was proposed last week that in our Feb 3rd 12PM ET RegRep TC meeting, we hold the following motions for TC vote:

1. Motion to approve RegRep 4 WD6-5 as CD6

2. Motion to approve posting RegRep 4 CD6 for a 30 day public review (Only if first vote is successful)
   Reference: http://docs.oasis-open.org/TChandbook/Reference/PublicReviews.html

Thanks to Kathryn for providing guidance on, and links to, the latest TC process.

Does any one have any objections to above proposal? If so, please share your thoughts and suggest an alternative plan.

And please make every effort to attend the meeting. Thank you.

Bottom line is that we are very close to wrapping RegRep 4 up after many years of hard work. We need to give it a final concerted effort.

To that end I would like to propose the following tactical plan with end goal being to send CD6 for public review:

• We all review WD6-5 end-to-end by next meeting on 12PM ET Feb 3, 2011
• We all review the open issues for CD6 and 4.0-os
  
• We close http://jira.wx.ll.mit.edu/browse/REGREPTC-132, so please send your comments and +1 on the proposed resolution that is already in WD6-5
  
• We all attend the next meeting on 12PM ET Feb 3, 2011
• During the meeting we vote on approval of WD6-5 as CD6
  (See "3.1 Approval of a Committee Draft" http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process-2010-07-28.php#standApprovProcess )
  
• If WD6-5 is approved as CD6, we have a second vote to send it for a 30 day public review (See "3.2. Public Review of a Committee Draft" http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process-2010-07-28.php#standApprovProcess )

The document named RegRep 4 WD6-5 Specification Bundle
(regrep-spec-4.0-wd6-5.zip) has been submitted by Farrukh Najmi to the
OASIS ebXML Registry TC document repository.

Document Description:
This is the 5th draft of RegRep 4 WD6 specifications.
The only change since last revision is the fix for REGREPTC-179.

Please review this version in preparation for our next TC meeting on
February 3, 2011 and be prepared to vote on whether this version should be
approve as Committee Draft 6 (CD6). If this version is approved as CD6 then
also be prepared to vote on whether it should be posted for public
review.
