Subject: jing operational question
Good morning, all ... sorry for a tool-specific question to a spec-specific
list, but I figure this is the biggest source of jing users around.
I'm using jing just fine in my environment, but a customer using my files
is getting:
D:\My Documents\...\0323\test\..\literate.rnc:54:14: error: datatype
library "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-datatypes" not recognized
Since I can't reproduce his problem in my environment, I'm unsure where his
problems lie. In my environment the datatype library is recognized and I
get the validation I anticipate.
Looking at ....
http://www.thaiopensource.com/relaxng/jing.html
.... I found a link to ....
http://www.thaiopensource.com/relaxng/jing-datatypes.html
.... which has instructions regarding implementations of the datatype
library necessarily being available on the CLASSPATH. I trashed my
CLASSPATH in an attempt to reproduce the problem, but it worked fine even
after doing so.
Can anyone offer an idea what might be different on his machine than mine?
Thanks for any help you can be!
