In your example, you would like to have many keys  (e.g., references 
to <activation>, references to <graph>,...).  But <data ...> is specified 
only once in <define name="fm.id">, and fm.id is referenced repeatedly.  
Where do we specify key=".." and keyref="..."?    Good point.
