As you have probably seen, MSV issues a warning on <xs:element name="foo"> <xs:complexType mixed="true"/> </xs:element> I GUESS because it does not find a type attribute on <xs:element>? While it appears to be correct, <xs:complexType mixed="true"/> requires a lot out of a human reader to understand what is going on. Mike
