Subject: Re: [rsa-interop-demo] RSA 2017 booth graphics...pls review company logos

I agree that we want to vendors visible to traffic. Seeing an Oracle
or HPe logo (or others) in a "strange place" (ie in another person's
booth) often brings people in simply because they are curious.

Hi Everyone,

For this type of a change to take place, we'll need to notify our contractor by
noon tomorrow (12:00 PM EST; Friday, 13 Jan). We a massive amount of paperwork
and orders out for submission on Friday. All of these are tied to our final design.

Please send any feedback to the list ASAP. If I don't hear back from the group,
we'll assume Tony's proposal is acceptable.

Tony - please send along a copy the diagram with front and back booth notations.

    Hi Folks,

Firstly we do all owe Jane a huge debt of thanks for the work that goes into
    this, so thank you Jane!

Regarding the booth layout, when we conducted the poll on the layout, the
design was based on an assumption that the participant pods would be facing
the entrance, in front of the OASIS banner tower. Jane's email makes it
clear that we had a disconnect here. In my view the participants should be
facing the entrance with the OASIS banner tower in the background (this may
mean the monitor faces int the booth - I'm in two minds about that).

Part of my reasoning here is that it is the TC members and their work that
is the focus of the display and facing those pods out (away from the second
OASIS booth) would be the appropriate thing to do. The second part of my
reasoning here is it makes it easier for the OASIS staff to pass members
between booths where there is genuine interest being shown in other
    standards bodies' work.

Jane does need to wrap this up quickly so I would encourage all booth
participants to express their concerns to the group as quickly as possible.

    Thanks,
    Tony

    Hi Everyone,

As a reminder, our next meeting on RSA logistics will take place on
Wednesday, 18 January at 4:00 PM EST. A meeting agenda and related
information will follow later this week. Dial-in information for that
meeting was distributed along with the calendar notice and is also noted
    below.

Attached please find a draft copy of our main booth graphic. This tower
will appear in the front of our booth. Page one of this PDF indicates what
will be printed on the front side of the tower. (Please note: The black
box in the center indicates the video monitor and the purple box on the
bottom is a cabinet.) Page two indicates the backside of the tower (again,
purple box on the bottom indicates a cabinet).

*We are asking each participating company to review their individual logo
for accuracy. Please contact me before COB EST on Wednesday, 11 January,
if any adjustments are needed regarding your logo.* In addition to logo
placement on both sides of the tower -- your company logo will also appear
    above your individual pod location.

On another note, we don't have a final booth layout sketch to share yet,
but do expect to have it available prior to our meeting next week. As an
alternative, please find the most recent layout sketch attached. The
location of the individual pods will be consistent in the final version.
The tower placement is the only item scheduled to be adjusted. The tower
will be moved to appear at a slant in the top right-hand corner. This
corner is the closest to the showfloor entrance (giving it the most
    visibility possible).

Again, more information regarding the layout and pod seat selection will
follow. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards, Jane
