I think we need to do a better job marketing SAF. I’ve noticed that we tend to have fairly long, academic descriptions of SAF (at least as far as I can tell), so I took a crack at a simple 2 sentence description. Please feel free to comment or use as you see fit:
“SAF is a catalog-based, loosely-coupled XML-based knowledge framework that enables both problem remediation and optimization of the operational or business characteristics of complex systems within and across domains of best practices and policy. The framework has applicability to both IT and non-IT; including cloud computing, operational and service management, governance, security, and most vertical industries.”
