Just to reignite this thread, I have made some simple changes as per Paul's comments. I moved the marketing material to the first phase of the alliance. I thought that press release and some common messages on cloud standards could be produced relatively early and easy, so I've moved this as the first deliverable. Second is the whitepaper, around Jan/Feb 2011.  Does that make sense to you?

Thanks for taking a crack at this. I took a look days ago and never had time to reply. Based on my memory (already a risk), I think the joint output still needs to be ordered chronologically, probably with the whitepaper as the first item. Also, there still is a lack of explicit deliverable dates. I think that’s OK for later items, but I think you’ve at least got to put a date on that first item. I wonder if the end of the year is a reasonable date.

 

Lastly, I suggest adding Mark Johnson’s to the name lists at the end since he did agree to my request that he participate. Also, Jacques Durand has volunteered based on earlier emails from the Fujitsu folks. The more the merrier at this point! :-)
