Thus you see a 40-character string of hex characters.

I believe his source ID is specified in HEX.  I made the same mistake reading Rob Philpott's source ID; they have specified the value in HEX (4 bits per digit), not B64 (6 bits per digit).

I thought SourceID was supposed to be 20 bytes. Per bindings document pg 17 Line 551, 564-565. Please correct me if wrong.
