I do not know of any formal coupling between the SAML world
and the SyncML world (at least for Datasync/OMA-DS, which I participate
in).
It's also not clear what you mean by this - you can use
SyncML (actually - OMA-DS, and/or OMA-DM, to use the current terms) to
transfer/provision SAML assertions, or you can use message level protection
(e.g. TLS) to secure your your SyncML messages. I'm not sure how any
direct coupling would help you, other than to be
non-interoperable.
