Hi
Folks,
A while
back Scott Cantor wrote this:
At
the end of the day, if your sentence
starts with "I don't have a browser..." and your use case isn't simple
SAML queries, you may as well not look at
the profiles document, apart from as a
source of inspiration.
I
interpreted that to mean that all profiles listed in the profiles
specification depend on the involvement of a browser. Have I
misinterpreted Scott's statement?
The
reason I ask is that I am looking at the Name Identifier Mapping Profile
(section 7 of the Profile Specification) and there doesn't seem to be a browser
involved. That is, the SP interacts directly with the
IdP.
Question: do all profiles listed in the Profiles Specification
depend on the involvement of a browser?
Thanks. /Roger
