Thanks.  One question to clarify my understanding: the distinction between an xsi:nil explicit null and an empty value <AttributeValue/> is that xsi:nil gives the IdP a way to signal "this page intentionally left blank", while an empty <AttributeValue/> could be a mistake as well?
