Subject: NEW ISSUE: Is binding.ws support for interface.wsdl a MUST or a MAY ?
TARGET: Web Service Binding Specification
DESCRIPTION:
When reviewing the RFC2119 proposal for binding.ws, I noticed that there is no normative indication whether interface.wsdl support is a MAY or a MUST. There is language about supporting other non-WSDL interface definitions (section 2.2), which implies that interface.wsdl is a MUST, but we never explicitly state it.
PROPOSAL:
Support for interface.wsdl is a MUST. Possibly this is resolved if the Assembly spec states a MUST for interface.wsdl support, which it currently (rev3) does not.
