This may be difficult in some situations but it appears if the overwhelming majority of conformance tests could be verified in a language independent manner. What do you think? As a suggestion, it may be best to separate this discussion into two threads: one dealing with the proposal of a separate TC; and one picking up on the previous thread about how the assembly tests should be structured.
