Issue 14 discussion

Najeeb Andrabi:
Michael Rowley: Any changes made to sca-bpel-1.1-spec-cd01+issue14.doc? Dieter to confirm.
Najeeb Andrabi:
Najeeb Andrabi:
Mike Edwards: Current proposal does not have spec like language.
Najeeb Andrabi:
Title - Allow sca-aware processes to specify everything that can be specified in a CT side file

Target - BPEL C&I spec

Description - The spec allows one to specify a SCA property and multi-ref

in a BPEL process. It should be possible to configure a SCA component

without requiring a component Type side file. For example, this is true

of Java. This would make the component type side file optional for

sca-aware processes.
Mike Edwards:
Wordsmithing:
Mike Edwards:
"It is possible to override the default mapping of partnerLinks to services or references as described in section 2.1 by explicitly marking the partnerLink with an SCA attribute that describes the service or reference."
Najeeb Andrabi:
Danny : Had suggested alternate wording on email list
anish:
danny's wordings: ""if a different componentType is desired...."
Michael Rowley:
It is also possible to override the default mapping of partnerLinks to services or references as described by explicitly marking the partnerLink with an SCA attribute that describes the service or reference. These attributes are described in section 3.3.
Najeeb Andrabi:
Martin Chapman: Next version to still CD but with a revision number
Michael Rowley:
Najeeb Andrabi:
Michael Rowley : moves to resolve issue # 14
Ashok:
So, Martin, ... CD01-rev01
Najeeb Andrabi:
Martin Chapman: After committee draft is approved we cannot move back to working draft
Najeeb Andrabi:
Martin Chapman: if document is marked as revx.doc then it is not approved.
Michael Rowley:
Najeeb Andrabi:
Michael Rowley : moves to resolve issue # 14 based on change marking based on http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sca-assembly/download.php/27732/sca-bpel-1.1-spec-cd-01-rev1.doc
Michael Rowley:
CORRECTION: The proper link for CD01-Ref1 that resolves issue 14 is: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sca-bpel/download.php/27734/sca-bpel-1.1-spec-cd-01-rev1.doc
Najeeb Andrabi:
Mike Edward seconds
Najeeb Andrabi:
Motion is approved and issue #14 is resolved.

issue 15

Najeeb Andrabi:
Anish: Two issues related to conformance
anish:
anish:
Najeeb Andrabi:
Martin Chapman: Two conformance targets suggested
Najeeb Andrabi:
1) static analysis
Najeeb Andrabi:
2) Runtime tests
Najeeb Andrabi:
Static analysis of BPEL and SCA documents
Najeeb Andrabi:
Martin Chapman: After the spec is made RFC-2119 keywords we can come up with conformance tests.
Najeeb Andrabi:
RFC-2119 keywords compliant
Najeeb Andrabi:
Anish: Why would we distinguish between un-modified and modified SCA BPEL processes?
Najeeb Andrabi:
Martin Chapman: we need to enumerate all the artifacts for conformance tests.
Najeeb Andrabi:
Conformance Tests and RFC-2119 keywords to focus of next meeting.
