Testing
Mike: An initial test structure has been committed to the OASIS SVN system:
Mike describes the test case structure that is in there
- it follows the structure of the Assembly test suite quite closely
Sanjay:
can you send some instructions on how to run these test cases
Mike: I'll do that once I have it working properly
Issue 57
Action: Anish to create a proposal for issue 57
issue 58
<anish>
Mike explains the issue
there was an original inline proposal
sca-bpel-1.1-spec-cd02+skip_proposal.do
Anish:
I think that we need a normative statement added to section 2.1.1 before [SBPEL2001] which says that if sca-bpel:ignore is
set to "true" then the partnerlink does not give rise to a <service/> or a <reference/> in the componentType
Action: Mike - Prepare an updated version of the proposal for Issue 58
Issue 59
Issue 59 - How does a SCA Extended WS-BPEL Runtime deal with a non-conformant BPEL process?
Outline of a proposal in Jira
Action: anish to provide an exact proposal for issue 59 (general direction in JIRA)
Anish:
We're going to wait for the test cases
issue 58
Mike: Here is a proposal to add a new normative statement to section 2.1.1 - this would be immediately before [SBPEL2001]
[SBPEL2023] If a partner link element has an sca-bpel:ignore attribute with a value of "true", then the introspected component
type for the WS-BPEL process MUST NOT contain a service or a reference element which relates to that partner link element,
irrespective of any other aspects of that partner link.
Mike: But we may need to make this non normative in section 3.3:
[SBPEL3034] A <partnerlink/> element which has sca-bpel:ignore="true" MUST NOT be introspected as either an SCA service or
as an SCA reference.
A <partnerlink/> element which has sca-bpel:ignore="true" is not be introspected as either an SCA service or as an SCA reference.
...making it non-normative
so that the normative statement is entirely in section 2.1.1
Anish:
Going back to section 2.1.1, we really need to make the new normative statement fit in with the style of the rest of the
section
- that section is really a nested if
- and the form of the new statement
does not match what is there at the moment
Action: MikeE to rehaul section 2.1.1 in light of issue 58 proposal
