New issue 66

Motion to accept issue 66 (m:Najeeb, s:Sanjay)

Motion passed, issue 66 opened
Resolution: issue 66 is opened

Issue 65 discussion

Sanjay:
we were looking at how other TCs deal with boolean flag.
Anish:
Dieter suggested that BPEL uses yes/no for boolean values.
Najeeb:
Restricting value space makes the composite application design simpler.
Anish:
we have to take into account backwards compatibility issues.
Anish:
we can use canonical value of true that makes value space (1,true) implicit.
Ashok:
Canonical value of true does not imply (1,true) value space.
Ashok:
recommends against restricting value space.
Anish:
we will run into problems if we want restrict value space for boolean across SCA.
Anish:
specification language has to say "true" or "1" and "false" or"0" for boolean values.
Sanjay:
moves to resolve issue 66 with value space of sca-bpel:ignore attribute with all four values(true,false,1,0).

Ashok seconds
Resolution: issue 65 resolved unanimously with ignore attribute value space the same as xs:boolean. Normative statements to be adjusted to reflect that.
Action: editors to include changes to the spec normative stmts that reflect resolution of issue 65

Issue 66 discussion

Najeeb moves to resolve 66 with proposal in jira.

Sanjay seconds
Resolution: Issue 66 resolved unanimously with proposal in jira
