Subject:

[sca-j] NEW ISSUE: JCA30008 is unnecessary

TARGET: SCA-J CAA spec (CD03 rev1)

DESCRIPTION:

JCA30008 says that @Intent and @Qualifier annotations must not appear in classes used as SCA interfaces. In fact, those annotations are defined such that the Java compiler does not allow them to be placed anywhere except within annotation definitions. Therefore, JCA30008 is irrelevant.

A Java implementation class referenced by the @interface or the @callbackInterface attribute of an <interface.java/> element MUST NOT contain the following SCA Java annotations:
@Intent, @Qualifier. [JCA30008]

PROPOSAL:

Remove JCA30008
