Subject: Issue-111 Asynch methods and Transactions
We have not been able to get a complete review of the proposed changes from our developers but there is a partial response which argues that SuspendTransaction may also be questionable for an Aynch method: *It's true that propagatesTransaction does not make sense for AsyncInvocation. But even the "suspendsTransaction" is only the half the story. The client's transaction is propagated just for getting the receipt of the request, so for this part it behaves like transactedOneWay. After that the request is processed by the server in a new local transaction at the server side. This is not exactly like "suspendsTransaction" as the client's side transaction is actually never suspended.* -- All the best, Ashok
