Subject: Groups - sdd glossary version 07 CLEAN (sdd-glossary-v07_clean.doc) uploaded
Howdy Friends, I have submitted a 'clean', pruned, and reworded glossary. I have attempted to distill our discussions to this point into this document and edit for clarity without changing the intent. Terms that have been pruned: Baseline configuration - not used Composition - see solution, or package Configure - see configuration Default configuration - see initial configuration Hosting environment - see target License Enforcement Technology - not used Physical package - see package Physical package content - see package, resource Smallest identifiable unit - see resource software package - see package, solution solution instance - see solution, and instance solution instance lifecycle op - redundant target installer - see installation program Terms that did not fit the "one sentence" test were carefully reworked to retain the generally understood meaning.
