Idle time/ time to live. After considerable discussion we have decided to change idle time to time to live. That is: the response element will be changed to and its semantics will be changed correspondingly. There will be no idle time, only time to live. The client proposes a TTL and the server may or may not supply a TTL in the response. The TTL is deemed to begin when the server sends the response. recordXMLEscape This will be changed to "recordXMLEscaping". XML will be upper case. And we will use "recordPacking" for the name of the parameter that the current draft calls dataPacking. 560: change "would" to "could". Section 14 to become a non-normative annex, describing "Backwards Compatibility". Describe other possible compatibility issues, for example perhaps discuss the issue of changing the name of the "packing" parameter and the 'resultSetIdleTime' response element. Matthew will supply Soap Binding. Soon. Jan and Ray will discuss how to move forward on Explain. Tony will move forward with the Opensearch binding. Next call, May 17.
