Subject: RE: [search-ws] Re: searchRetrieve interoperability demonstration
Hi all - sorry there's been no movement on this for a few weeks, and here I am again going away for a week. I have not been able to make contact with the Hopkins or MIT rep. When I get back June 24, I'll try again, and hope to try to begin to nail this down. --Ray From: Chet Ensign [mailto:chet.ensign@oasis-open.org] This looks good to me. I will be away all next week, so I have put together a brief demonstration proposal, attached. It may need more detail, but I wanted to get it out before I leave. Let me know what you think. If it looks ok, when I get back we can talk about logistics and a date. Ray From: search-ws@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:search-ws@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Carol Geyer I'm glad the idea of doing a searchRetrieve interop via webinar is appealing. In order for non-members to participate in the interop, they must be non-commercial, e.g., government agency, NGO, university, research institute. Companies with products that support the standard would need to join OASIS. If you want to share contact info, we're happy to reach out to them. Jane Harnad can set up all the webinar logistics for the TC and work with you on promotion. We should announce it three weeks in advance, so we can get this on people's calendars. Do you have a date in mind?
