Subject: [security-conform] DocBook interchange questionnaire
In talking about the partition/authority type problem with Bob Griffin, I
described a "questionnaire" approach to conformance and interoperability
that I put together many years ago, when the DocBook DTD was still in
extremely active development. If you use DocBook for interchange, you're
supposed to fill out the questionnaire found here:
http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/documentation/reference/html/appf.html
While the actual questions don't remotely resemble anything that SAML might
want to use, I thought the idea of posing a series of questions to would-be
conforming implementors was useful. Then as we discover commonalities
among the questions, we can build a matrix up from that.
Bob is running with the idea, so I think he'll have a draft to share soon...
