Subject: RE: [security-services] Comments on core-28

The pdf question marks issue is because there is a bug in the pdf writer that causes it to hang if you do a printout with the change bars enabled and font embedding turned on. This is not an issue for the final draft as the changebars will be off.

Subject: [security-services] Comments on core-28

Our developers provided some comments to pass along, which I've consolidated with a few of my own...

  1. The bullets in bulleted lists are now printing as 2 question marks throughout the document.  This started with core-26. Prior to that, they printed as normal solid bullets.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Seems like a font issue?
  2. Most (all?) of the spec references are no longer printing out (e.g. Line 293: [XMLSig-XSD], Line 306: [W3C-CHAR], etc). This happened between core-27 and core-28 revisions.
  3. Line 324: I think this should say "Section 2 and following" rather than "Sections 1.2 and following" since the normative text starts in section 2.
  4. Line 352: Still contains a reference to the SOAP profile ("and the securing of SOAP payloads"). Should be deleted.
  5. Line 939: s/elementis/element is/
  6. Lines 1571, 1572, 1573, 1576, 1578, 1581, 1583: s/application/authority
  7. Lines 1599, 1601, 1602, 1631: s/issuer/asserting party/
  8. Line 1601: s/relying party/relying party (RP)
  9. Line 1868: s/ActionNamespace attribute/Namespace attribute of the <Action> element/
  10. I think Emily Xu already caught this one in the schema at Line 2224: The "Recipient" attribute should not be in the RequestAbstractType.  It should be in the ResponseAbstractType (after line 2301).  Also "dateTime" should be "anyURI"
