Use of Liberty ID-FF 1.2 in SAML 2.0

One of my personal goals for SAML 2.0 is to ensure that we have a single federation framework

for both Liberty Alliance and SAML. You may be aware that Liberty Identity Federation Framework has

moved on to version 1.2 since we received permission to use Liberty ID-FF 1.1 in SAML 2.0.

 

I believe it will aid in our timely functioning if we were to communicate our interest in using ID-FF 1.2 to the

Liberty Alliance, and, if subsequently, the alliance granted us the right to create derivative

works from 1.2 to the SSTC.

 

How should we proceed in this matter?
