[mailto:andy.moir@comcast.net] On Behalf Of andy.moir@oasis-open.org Dear
Colleagues: We are
writing to gauge your interest in participating in an exciting opportunity to
showcase your federated identity management solutions. Following
the success of last year’s event, a number of parties have expressed
initial interest in pursuing an OASIS-sponsored SAML 2.0 Interop lab at next
year’s RSA Conference, to be held February 14-18, 2005, at the We
consider last year’s event to have been extremely successful based on the
media and analyst responses, and the constant traffic and interest the Interop
Lab generated during the two days it was open. This
year, the Lab will showcase interoperability in real-life use cases between
vendors delivering federated identity solutions built around the SAML 2.0
specification. Space at
the conference is being underwritten primarily by the U.S. General Services
Administration’s eAuthentication Initiative, with additional
contributions by Enspier and RSA Security. Participants may
incur a nominal fee of $250-500 to cover any additional
costs. The final cost per participant will be determined by
various factors including the number of InterOp Participants and participant
equipment needs. Please
reply to Andy Moir (andy.moir@oasis-open.org)
to identify your level of interest and preparedness by answering the following
questions: ·
What is your level of interest in participating in the SAML 2.0 Lab (high,
medium, low)? ·
If you are not interested in participating in the SAML 2.0 Interop Lab, are
there other Interop Labs you might be interested in participating in? We look
forward to having your contribution to this very exciting event. Sincerely,
Andy Moir
